For ten years Aldo has photographed the same street from the opposite pavement, forty metres away, and has never rung that doorbell.

One evening he develops an expired roll of film found at a flea market, and in the seventeenth frame there is a man looking at a green door. What is terrible is not what the man is doing. It is what he has already decided to do, and has not yet told anyone.

His sister works behind that door. They have not spoken in ten years, and the reason they do not speak is the same reason she is now in danger. Aldo has a camera, four binders of negatives and sixty days. He also has something he cannot tell anyone: how he knows.

A psychological thriller about the difference between watching and acting, and the price of ten years spent doing the first while believing it was enough.
